It's built on a lightweight 1-piece aluminum chassis with a rigid aluminum gear-side cover to keep things running smooth and strong, and fitted with a depth-optimized 34mm forged-aluminum spool. The dual magnetic and centrifugal braking system works in concert with a precision spool tensioner to offer 3 levels of adjustability for extreme casting performance. Inside, a machined-aluminum drive gear, hardened brass pinion gear, and stainless steel drive shaft combine to generate smooth power on the retrieve, aided by a silky 9+1 stainless-steel ball bearing system featuring premium Japanese bearings supporting the spool.
